White Bear Triathlon Ballygally!
Situated on the world famous Antrim Coast Road (part of the Causeway coastal route) you will find Ballygally beach, nestled under the Sallagh Braes and home to the historic Ballygally Castle. Views of the infamous North channel and the Mull of Kintyre will meet you as you stand ready for a running beach start and a day of endurance, courtesy of Force 12 events.
No one can dispute the beauty of the Antrim Coast, an area steeped in history, culture and myth… but truly unforgiving for the unprepared.
The White Bear is a tough triathlon and will without a doubt test you. The nature of this triathlon will present challenging open water swimming conditions, a relentless cycling route and a gradually ascending run that concludes with a descent through the Sallagh Braes unveiling spectacular views and the sound of applause from a fantastic local community when you cross the finish line at the White Bear.
This is very exciting for us as the White bear is just opposite us on the Coast road! So if you are wondering “where to stay for the white bear triathlon?” or is there any accomodation near the White Bear Triathlon?” Yes there is! You could save your energy for the race and stay right accross the road or if you are just wanting to watch you have the perfect vantage spot and who wouldn’t want to stay at the best situated self catering in Northern Ireland?
This years event was a great success and we look forward to welcoming The White Bear Triathlon and Ballygally Beach Swim and all of the triathletes and their families back to Ballygally in 2019.
